The VME Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs Lizelle du Toit as the Marketing Manager of the group.
Prior to her appointment, Lizelle coordinated various marketing activities and contributed extensively to the implementation of VME's customer relations management system.
She also played a key role in the development of the group's corporate image improvement programme.
"Lizelle earned her stripes over the past 18 months with all the groundwork she did for the newly established marketing department. We are therefore confident that she would build a formidable marketing department that would take the VME Group to new levels of market recognition,"said Mr Frik de Villiers, the Chief Executive Officer of VME.

The following appointments have been made and will be effective as from 1 July 2014:
Mr Carlos de Oliveirra, currently our Potchefstroom Manager, has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for our Mayibuye Engineering division. I am convinced that his 40 years of experience in the group will help him to build on the already solid foundation laid by his predecessors.
Mr Vicky Baia, currently Business Manager in Pretoria, has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for our Valfrira Motor Engineering division. Vicky’s 20 years of experience in the group makes him the ideal candidate for this very important position.
Mr Hennie Neethling, after a short break from the group, will return as the Business Manager for Valfrira Motor Engineering in Kimberley. Hennie has more than 15 years of experience in our Elandsfontein business and we are confident that he would bring a number of new cutting edge ideas to this important business unit.
Mr Jose Concalves, previously a Project Manager has been promoted the Business Manager in our Pretoria office. Jose has 17 years of experience with our group and I have no doubt that it will stand him in good stead whilst building on the impressive past of this business unit.
I would like to congratulate the new appointees and trust that they will have everyone’s support in the very important jobs they have to perform.
I am particularly please that we could fill most of the positions from within the company. Hopefully we can continue to do so in the future. The aggressive growth path that we have chosen for ourselves would most likely lead to more opportunities like this in the near future.
